Do you find yourself overwhelmed by the number of sites you have to go to for everyday tasks at MIT? Try finding it here. They are organized theoretically by frequency of use. The goal is to attempt to have a one-stop shop for helpful links. Of course, organization is challenging when you're dealing with 1/256th of the internet so, if anything is missing that you tend to go to pretty often, please let us know!

• Student Life and Learning -- This site also attempts to organize MIT's student resources, and is a lot more extensive than the list below. Check it out!
• WebSIS -- Your "personal portal." Useful, but even harder to follow than this list. Some of the links below can also be found here.

Grades/Academic

• Stellar -- Check your grades, get your assignments, etc. If you don't know what Stellar is, you clearly don't go here.
• Subject Listing and Schedule -- Descriptions of classes, when they're offered, etc.
• Subject Evaluations -- Make informed decisions about the classes you're taking.
• MIT Course Picker -- Save some brain cells and create a schedule easily.
• Course Catalog -- Requirements and descriptions for each major.
• IAP Catalog -- The IAP listings are slowly being added.
• HASS Requirement -- Explains what you actually have to do before graduating.
• Communication Requirement -- A different page than for the HASS requirement: Logistics, classes, and more of CI.
• The Registrar -- Forms to request transcripts, add/drop, change majors and minors, cross register, etc. Also has other useful information like the academic calendar.
• PE Requirement/Signups -- Only at MIT does this fit under "Academic."
• Learning to Learn -- Tips and resources from the advising office for improving academic performance.

Jobs and Career

• UROPs -- When and how to apply, safety requirements, and how to find them.
• EHS Safety Training -- Your safety training requirements/portal. If you need it for UROPs or lab classes.
• CareerBridge -- Submit resumes, make an appointment with GECD, other good stuff.
• The Global Education and Career Development Office -- Interesting statistics, general career info, and tips.

Extra-Curriculars

• Association of Student Activities -- Is your group recognized? Do you have the right signatories? Need a locker? The ASA has tons of resources for student groups you might not know about.
• Campus Activities Complex -- If you're planning an event, this is the place to go. Also check out the Event Planning Guide.
• The Registrar -- This time, for reserving classrooms.
• The Student Activities Office -- So many resources for getting your group up and running. You can just walk into their office too.

Money

• Financial Record -- See your current account statement, pay, and weep.
• Reimbursements -- Finally, the entire process is online. Contact funds@mit.edu if you're confused.
• Time Sheets -- Fill them in, get paid, and be happy.
• Student Information Review Form -- Fill it out to get financial aid!
• Student Financial Services -- Information about financial aid.

Personal Life

• Student Support Services -- You might have forgotten about them, but when you can't make a test, they're the ones who will excuse you.
• MIT Medical -- Hours, insurance, etc. PS -- Though you may have heard complaints, we've heard that their mental health resources are great.
• SafeRide Schedule -- When and where does it run?
• MBTA Passes -- Did you know MIT students get 50% off monthly passes?
• Campus Dining -- Information about meal plans, venues, catering, and more.
• Budget Rental -- Did you know MIT has a deal with Budget rental? Use your MIT ID and you can rent a car at normal prices at the young age of 18. Use the Sydney Street location.

Computing and Technology

• IS&T -- Free software, emergency information, how to Athena, and more.
• WebMoira -- Manage your mailing lists and create your own.
• SIPB -- Helpful information and resources for coders and non-coders alike. They provide hosting for dynamic content (or something like that) and a bunch more stuff.
• Lynda -- FREE tutorials (paid for by MIT) in tons of software from Excel to Photoshop.
